| Go to the North | I left Windhoek at the March 13th and went by car in the North of Namibia. In the first time I would like see the Etosha Nation park and so I arrived a little village in the near of the gate on the same day. The next day I visited Etosha. Etosha is the name for "Great white place" and the National park have a area about 23.000 qkm. In the National park lay the Etoshapan, but a long time only dry in it. |

The first was the Abdimsstorch and then came the chamois buck.
Many animals I had in my camera of the other National parks before. But every time and, everybody hope - the next picture is better as the last picture. In the Ngorongoro Crater I couldn't drive my own car and so I didn't stay on all areas where I would like stay. Now I drove my own car and when I had enjoy of a stay, the I could stop the car every time and all along I like it. It's better and more pleasure. Then
I saw a ostrich. The ostrich is very shy and in this near I didn't see it before. But my camera was worked with zoom and so I got this stupid picture.
I changed all things and the ostrich fled and for me was this the latest
time for a picture.
I zoomed me back and the ostrich begun to run and feared, I
will get the same pictures as before - the backside of a ostrich. |

How I said - it's a long day and so I had enough time for a other part of this National park. So I went in the mysterious forest. There grow Moringatrees, and this trees have god threw on the earth and now the trees stay with the head in the earth, the wrong way round in the earth. A small time before the twilight I came on the Okaukuejo-Campsite. The animals what you didn't see in the daylight you can see in the darkness of the evening on the waterhole. Many tourist stood there. It was loud and more move on our side as in the wildlife. But the animals was coming. The rhino - hyena - elephants - jackal. Only my camera couldn't see it and so I haven't pictures. But the antelope was very quiet and calm, so I said, the lion isn't in the near and gone back in the camp. In the camp I saw many jackals. They was looking for food. I went in my car and heard the howling of the jackals around the night.
