To Mauritania I started to Mauritania early in the morning. Asked to the way, I saw only little villages and soon I couldn't see a way after some kilometre. Much sand. With and without yellow grass. Bush and lonley trees. Between some little fields and when I asked the poeple then I didn't know it is correctly. So I got my GPS and I saw I drove parallel to the border. And not to Mauritania. But all poeple said the same and a man said I had to follow this foot prints. Not left and not right. I done it and I stood middle in the desert without prints after 5 km. And so I looked for the way myself and crossed the border in nirvana.

So I came to Mauritania and found a little village. I asked a man to the way to Adel Bagrou - the border village. I think we had a long small talk about 10 minutes and I sort all information's to the only one and now I found Adel Bagrou 2 hours after my start in Nara. Now I had to look for the police station. Also not so easy in a French speaking country. And the police man would a fee for the entry. But I haven't money. So I hat to wait of his break, now it was in the noon, and then we changed money. Very difficult. Only a black market. No bank and we needed one hour for this. In this time the sun was very hot and I was looking for shadow every time. I fled in the shadow  when I got the possibility. Now I hat to find the customs. Also difficult and I needed one hour again. So I could leave Adel Bagrou after 4 hours. A long border cross.

Now I drove to Amourj. I got a hitch hiker but I was down after 30 minutes. The sun and the heat. I felt giddy. But the man was at the finish and I could gone with him in his house. I laid me exhausted on the carpet. It's rotate in my head and I felt somebody pull on my legs. I hoped of a fast regeneration. But it didn't come. So I needed 2 hours and I drove farther to Amourj.

Amourj The sun wasn't so high as in the noon. The heat not so hot. And the wind of drive was a little bit colder as 2 hours before. I came to Amourj. A larger village.

Had to go to the police and the man said in Amourj isn't a hotel. I must asked in the near of the restaurant. I looked for the restaurant. Found it and in a short time came a man and said he have all what I want.

I was very down and exhausted. We came to his house and I got a mattress in the open air. I got Kuskus with mutton. But I wasn't hungry. To hot and the day to tiring. I would only one sleep. Later laid the complete family beside me and slept.

This was the most heavy day all allong the tour. My power was finish at the noon. The sun shone pitiless down on the earth. Every exercise was a pain. I looked for shadow every time. Drank much "cool" (cool is good in this heat - the water was warm) water. And when I came under the sun - the last power began to flee. It is the only one possibility here - go in the shadow or in your home and do nothing in the noon and the next 4 hours.

4 o'clock pm. - this is the first time to go outside. The Sahara is in the near.
