the first I think every time at Crosby, Stills,
Nash & Young. Marrakech Express. In
express tempo I would drive to Marrakech. But I
found a work shop of Suzuki - my carburettor. Just I know the inside of the
carburettor. The man show the defect part in the first time. It wasn't necessary
to look inside. Just is the carburettor also clean inside. But destroyed was
a little rubber ring for the entry of petrol. So the carburettor got to much
petrol and drowned. Just is all ready.
You will catch of the atmosphere when you arrive Marrakech. This isn't the same as Agadir. This is orient. A little fairy tale. Small lanes and in it I found a small hotel. The lane with my hotel.
In the afternoon I walked through the old town and the souks of Marrakech. Many poeple are here. It is really orient. Busy activity on the stands. Spectacle of jugglers, storytellers, snake charmers, magicians, acrobats and benign lunatics. The restaurants, also only little open air stands, prepare the dinner.
Many tourist are here. Rare I saw so much in the time of my travel. But Marrakech is a attraction and I'm curious of the next day. |

Marrakech was founded 1067
and was the capital for a long time (17th century) and remained the southern
capital. I got my daily breakfast and dawdled through the lanes of Marrakech. Today is the holy Friday and many stands in the souks are closed. But this is better and not so much activity. Not so much guides and tractors.
Upper on a roof I found a little cafe and shady rest in the noon. A nice view over the roofs of Marrakech and I got a green impression. Many small green parks and many trees between the houses. Marrakech is warmer as Agadir. It is missing the fresh wind of the Atlantic..
The green horse carriage you can see often. Soon I fled of the sun and gone in my hotel. I waited of the late afternoon and gone back to the Place Djemaa el-Fna. In the day the place is empty. But 5 pm will be begin a busy activity and in a small time you can see many small stands of the restaurants. I took me dinner here and enjoyed the view.
