In Nairobi I looked for the Upper Hill Camp. Many poeple I met there and got so some information's for the next time.

But Nairobi is only a big town. With concrete houses. Many poeple. And when I went 10 minutes I came in a other Nairobi - no town a village. Little houses and many green. There is also the Upper Hill Camp.

From Nairobi I drove to Naro Moru, a little village in the near of the Mt. Kenya. Found a nice hostel there. Without electric power and petroleum lamp in the evening. When the sun went behind the horizon it will be cold and all went on the fireside. I found fast  contact to the poeple.

So I found out I must take a guide, when I want go on the Mt. Kenya. I agreed this with Josef, the manager of the  Mt. Kenya Hostel, and got Patrick as my guide.

At the January 30th we went to the Mt. Kenya.
