The jeep is back. The planed arrive was December 24th and now is the January 19th. But it was a strong job to got back it. The waiting time is finish. Thursday arrived the ship Mombasa. Friday I stood at the office of my helper at 9 am. But nobody was present. Not 10 am. Not 11 am. I said to me - I don't get back the jeep today again. The helper came 2 pm. But it wasn't possible to get the jeep - 3 pm time to stop work on the port. The poeple said - "This is Kenya." and smiled. And I said - "I know. This is Asia. This is India. This is Pakistan. This is Syria. It's all the same. I was waiting 5 hours and now I know, this is Kenya." But what can I do. I went back in the hotel and hope at tomorrow.

We met us 9 am. Then many offices. And in the noon I stood before the container. The container was loaded on a truck 2 am I was be afraid the time is to small - 3 am is time to stop the work. But which wonder 10 minutes after 3 am we left the port with container and my car in it. I was happy.

Tsavo East

And so I started my next stage to the Tsavo National Park. I found in the near a nice Lodge and built up my tent in the first time of my travel. In the darkness was coming the mosquitoes and I've thought this is a insect cage. I went in the sure tent.

The first was the Tsavo park east the next day. I drove on sandy dirt roads 180 km through the park. Flat land. Some time with bush and the other time only one meadows. Soon I saw the first elephant. It's a new and e nice feeling - a elephant in the nature and not fence between me and him. And so I could see many animals of the  Tsavo park.

  And then I have a little elephant story.

David

The first plan was go in the Tsavo West at the next day. But I have time and stood a little longer on the nice  Ndara Ranch. I had a small talk with David, the manager here, and we agreed a little tour to the inside region, to his family. This area is of the tribes Sagalla. And so I could see a small part of  Kenyan life.

Then we drove over lonley ways through the bush. Schoolchildren went on the road to home. When I took a picture they ran away and shrieked. The play - Who are be afraid of the white man?

The we came to Ngowe. The mountain left. This is the seven time rock. The story is - The man must go around the rock in seven times and the he get a wife. 

Well, so I said I stay a small time longer. Bought 12 cans castle beer.  I cooked fried potatoes with eggs, onion and garlic. And this was my birthday with David and William.

Then I went in the Tsavo Park West. The animals was very shyness. And I saw not so much as in the Tsavo East. The landscape was more hilly by little old volcanoes .

Then the rain was beginning. And so I went on the campsite. Two watchmen with kalaschnikow came and said it's better to camp with fire. So I hadn't trouble with elephants and lions. But I would like see the lions.
